WORKS TO BEGIN
The long-awaited project to renovate the clubs home ground has been given the green light by Bexley Council. The project will commence at the end of February, with much needed work being done to improve the pavilion’s exterior.
THREE RIVERS BEXLEY
The club have also been working closely with Three Rivers Bexley, a local community arts project, who have supported the Knights to develop creative ideas for the pavilion alongside residents, as well as awarding the grassroots team a £10K grant to create new artwork that will bring the building to life.
CELEBRATING SLADE GREEN
The outcome of the project will see a professional artist working with local residents and schools throughout the spring to design and paint a new mural on the exterior of the pavilion. The finished project will celebrate the incredible social history of Slade Green, from the 16th century to present day, and is expected to be ready for the public in summer 2023.
