We’re delighted to share that two of our teams have reached their Shield Finals this season, a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the hard work and progress across the club.

Our U11 Whites finished runners-up in their shortened Navy Shield campaign, with an impressive record of 5 wins, 1 draw, and just 1 defeat from 7 games. They now face Cray Wanderers Piranhas in the final on May 10. Having already met three times this season, this promises to be a closely contested match.

Our U13s have also been outstanding, winning all three of their Shield fixtures so far and securing a top position heading into finals day.

As a club run entirely by volunteers, with incredible support from parents across all age groups, this is something everyone can be proud of. It reflects not just results, but the commitment, teamwork, and development shown throughout the season.

We’d love to see as many Slade Green Knights supporters as possible at the Marathon Ground for finals day- details to be confirmed soon.
